Hello ladies!
August 27, 2010My body has been through the ringer these last two years. Mastectomy, lymph node biopsies, a stretched out tummy due to pregnancy…I suppose I can’t complain too much…at least I’ve maintained the same weight through all of it. But after 2 years of a breastless existence, I’m finally getting some new girls!
It’s no secret that my body image has been impacted by this whole ordeal. I just hope this next surgery on September 10th will bring some closure and restore some sense of normalcy for me. I have felt like a different version of my former self these last few years, and I’m ready to feel whole again. All me…all woman. Cancer free.
Woo Hoo!!

by CoffeeJitters (Judy Haley) August 27, 2010 at 5:13 amWell I hope the years go by quickly for you, Judy. Maybe I’ve been preoccupied with chemobaby, but it seems like the two years since my mastectomy have gone quickly.
